Quieesha BURNS(CORi!), is an American designer based in Paris, FR.  She studied at Cazenovia College (Bachelor of Fine Arts), Syracuse University (Bachelor of Fine Arts), and IFA Paris (Masters in Contemporary Fashion Design). Her deconstructed tailoring, with an inclusive vision for the future of sustainable fashion is intriguing. As well as her innovative perspective on upcycling, low waste direction, usage of deadstock fabrics and pre-loved garments, creating an ethical and out-of-the-box fashion.

After receiving international attention and support for the iconic “Omaga” vegan handbag as seen on Kelly Rowlands instagram story, British Vogue and various publications. She’s gone on to design pieces for the likes of latin pop star Evenny music for the Latin Music awards.  In addition she’s  been profiled by publications including British Vogue, New Wave- London, Mob Journal, Embrace, CNY and Syracuse Magazines. Currently, her bespoke or limited-edition garments can be found exclusively online.

Her brand Corii Burns is a luxury deconstructed brand that focuses on diversity, socioeconomics, and sustainability as a catalyst for social change through fashion.  Her collections are inspired and designed to highlight the diversity of the black diaspora and continued efforts to improve equity and inclusion.

Her contemporary  Mental Health Collection (MHII)  aims to address and draw attention to the mental health crisis, in a way that sparks change in how her community adresesses mental health. Through this Mental Health  Collection (MHII) the intention is clear,  making mental health  openly discussed and progressively handled in a way that leads to healthy healing.   This collection was developed in Paris, France at the beginning of the Covid-19 pandemic and the height of the Black Lives Matter movement globally.  She was moved by both, so the collection explores the connecting points of intersectionality within our community.

This collection highlights sustainability in a damaged world, so all garments included are adjustable and also include just enough extra sustainable fabric within for sizing changes.
