Learn the fundamentals of pattern making and begin creating custom garment patterns from your own measurements. This one-on-one class is designed for students who are ready to move beyond basic sewing and develop the skills needed to draft patterns with accuracy and confidence.

During this class, you will:

• Learn pattern-making terminology and essential tools
• Take and record body measurements
• Understand pattern drafting principles
• Draft a basic pattern using professional techniques
• Learn how to add seam allowances, grainlines, and pattern markings
• Leave with a foundation you can build on for future garment projects

Prerequisites:

• Students must be able to read a basic ruler (inches and fractions) before enrolling.
• Basic sewing knowledge is recommended.
